We are delighted to welcome a diverse group of students from Wenzhou Medical University, representing different academic years and a range of medical specialties, to our Centre.
During the visit, Prof. Allen Chan, Centre Co‑Director, and Prof. Peiyong Jiang, Chief Bioinformatics Officer, shared the Centre’s scientific vision and cutting‑edge diagnostic technologies. Their presentations offered students an in-depth look into how breakthroughs in circulating nucleic acids research are transforming the landscape of non‑invasive diagnostics and driving real-world translational impact.
The students also participated in an interactive laboratory tour, where they experienced our first‑hand research environment and ongoing scientific initiatives. This engagement not only deepened the students’ understanding of emerging biomedical technologies but also served as a meaningful opportunity to inspire the next generation of clinicians and researchers. We hope the visit encourages them to explore new possibilities in scientific research and to pursue impactful careers within the medical and biomedical research fields.
