The 14th International Symposium on Circulating Nucleic Acids in Plasma and Serum (CNAPS 2025) was successfully held from 3 to 5 December 2025. Co-organised by the Centre and the Department of Chemical Pathology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the event continued its legacy as a premier global forum for scientific exchange in the field.

Over the course of three days, CNAPS 2025 brought together an exceptional gathering of pioneering global researchers to explore the latest breakthroughs in circulating nucleic acids. Participants engaged in in‑depth discussions on cutting‑edge research spanning cell-free DNA technologies, disease early diagnosis and emerging clinical applications.

Beyond the scientific sessions, the symposium fostered meaningful collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders. It also provided a valuable platform for emerging scientists and students to present their work, enriching the dialogue and strengthening the global CNAPS community.

Complementing the academic programme, the welcome dinner and networking dinner offered participants the opportunity to connect in a more informal setting. These gatherings not only celebrated the spirit of collaboration but also deepened professional relationships and fostered new partnerships across disciplines and geographies.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Scientific Programme Committee members, all speakers, participants, sponsors, and partners whose contributions made CNAPS 2025 a resounding success. The Centre remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of diagnostic innovation and looks forward to the continued growth of the CNAPS community at the next meeting in Baltimore.
