The 2025 Dr. Stanley Ho Memorial Lecture, co-organised by Centre for Novostics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Dr. Stanley Ho Medical Development Foundation and the Centre for Personalised Medicine (St. Anne’s College, Oxford) was successfully held on 4 July 2025.  This annual event honours the visionary legacy of Dr. Stanley Ho, whose extraordinary philanthropy, made through the Dr. Stanely Ho Medical Development Foundation, has left a profound and enduring impact on education, medicine, and public health.

 

This year’s esteemed speaker, Professor Sir Peter Donnelly, a renowned statistician and geneticist, delivered an inspiring presentation titled "The Power and Potential of Genetics to Improve Healthcare."  His thought-provoking talk highlighted the transformative potential of genetics in healthcare, offering insights into how genetic research and technologies can shape the future of medicine and improve patient outcomes.

 

The lecture continues to serve as a vital platform for scientific exchange and collaboration, embodying the spirit of innovation and excellence in addressing global health challenges. It also inspired attendees to push the boundaries of medical research, reaffirming a shared commitment to improving lives through cutting-edge science.
